TRAINING — Professional Training from Experts for Technicians and Drivers

EXPERT TRAINING THAT PUTS YOU IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT

Well-trained, professional drivers can bring new efficiencies to your business and can make a positive impact on your insurance and operating costs. Recognizing the importance of building and maintaining professional skills among motor coach drivers, MCI PRO Support offers a driver training curriculum using audio-visual materials and the new MCI Coach Driving Simulator.

MCI DRIVING SIMULATOR

You're invited to introduce your drivers to the benefits of the MCI Coach Driving Simulator. Designed to give drivers the skills they need to become safer, more confident, and better prepared behind the wheel, the Simulator can go a long way in helping drivers become familiar with the art of navigating a 45-foot MCI motor coach through traffic, mountains, and inclement weather.

You can select from a variety of pre-designed training scenarios or customize a program to meet the needs of your business. The MCI Coach Driving Simulator is available for purchase or lease.

The MCI Coach Driving Simulator offers state-of-the-art features that include:

  • A highly realistic and immersive training environment that creates the look and feel of an actual vehicle.
  • Precision motion platform for a realistic driving experience.
  • Steering with real-time feedback.
  • State-of-the-art software that delivers sharp, crisp images.
  • Special effects that simulate extreme conditions such as mountain driving, snow, heavy rain, fog, ice, and varying wind conditions.

MCI DRIVER'S GUIDES

Designed to be stored on-board for easy reference or for use in training, MCI Driver's Guides for the new J4500, D4500, and D4505 models provide detailed images and descriptions of the toggle switches, gauges, and systems typically encountered by drivers.

MCI TECHNICIAN TRAINING

At MCI PRO Support, we're committed to advancing the skill levels of motor coach technicians. And we are demonstrating that commitment with a comprehensive schedule of in-depth training programs for both beginning and advanced technicians.

Regional Training Seminars

MCI Regional Training Seminars are designed for experienced technicians with a knowledge of the general principles and operation of MCI motor coach systems and components. In addition to offering a unique opportunity to network with other technicians and MCI representatives, these programs offer a hands-on learning environment covering new technologies, current coach problems, troubleshooting, and making the appropriate repairs on all current-production MCI motor coach models.

In addition to sessions conducted by expert MCI trainers, classes may also be taught by representatives from some of the OEM vendor companies who will be on hand to provide more specialized training in their own products, such as: pneumatics, electrical systems, steering and suspension systems, wheels and tires, disc brakes, HVAC systems, audio and video systems, and engine pre-heaters.

Webinars

Gather your key staff and join us from the comfort of your office. These valuable workshops are designed to help you get the most out of your clean-diesel coach models. To participate, all you’ll need is a phone line and Internet access on your computer.
