Be prepared. Should your coach suffer a fire while out on the road, the FireCaddy™ FlameOut® System offers superior fire-fighting capabilities on the spot, allowing a driver or individual to effectively extinguish many types of threatening fires, before emergency help arrives.

Unlike traditional dry chemical fire extinguishers, where re-ignition can occur, the FireCaddy™ features its patented FlameOut® foam, a fire-suppressant foam that acts on all three sides of the fire triangle to:

 

FireCaddy™ Features and Benefits

  • The FireCaddy™ FlameOut® Fire Suppression system has more than two minutes of Class A and B fire-fighting capability at a safe distance from the fire hazard and is seven times more effective than water alone. Its DC pump delivers a powerful flow rate of 6.34 gallons of FlameOut® fire suppressant foam per minute.

  • The manually operated system includes two hand-line hoses of approximately 35 feet; a 14 usable gallon tank and a rechargeable battery power source to help ensure the system will always be ready for a fire emergency.* The system is installed with a protective cover over the tank and motor.

  • FlameOut® foam is non-toxic, non-corrosive and 100% biodegradable.

  • Installs easily in the baggage bay for easy access.
Exclusive to MCI, the FireCaddy™ Flame Out® Fire Suppression System can be installed on your MCI® coach at any of the MCI Service Centers in the U.S. and Canada, or ordered as an option on a new MCI coach.
*Not for use on electrical fires. MCI recommends that a traditional Class ABC fire extinguisher also be carried on your coach.
